Watermelon Roses

A collection of random thoughts, commentaries, and journaling. There is a lot to explore here, including links to other sites of mine. These are mostly for my own benefit, but guests are welcome to browse and explore as much or as little as they like.

The kids and I made the long drive back to Michigan today. We had a bit of rain in Pennsylvania, my calling card thingie wouldn't work from there, and every 15 minute stop we made turned into an hour. Layla developed a bad habit of unbuckling Mina's seatbelt and provoking lots of screaming. Other than that, the drive went well. Justin and I finished listening to the Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone CDs. Why is the drive home always so much easier than the drive out?
